10 Things I Have Been Loving in November
1. Lush Products
To start off my November Favorites list, I will begin with Lush Cosmetics. I have been eyeballing Lush Products for YEARS! The reason I have not bought any of their products, until now, is because their products are made with fresh and organic ingredients. Why does that matter? This is beacuse their products can not be shipped because they must remain refrigerated because they are made with REAL fresh ingredients. So yes, you must to go to the physical store to purchase. It’s worth it.
Let me just say, I have used tons of beauty products… and nothing makes my skin feel better than their products.
2. Skin brushing
I have recently discovered skin brushing. One-third of your body’s toxins are excreted through the skin. Dry brushing helps to unclog pores and excrete toxins that become trapped. I have been dry brushing for a few months now and my skin has definitely thanked me for it. I recommend this brush.👇👇 (link takes you to the product)
3. Green Powders
I always thought that by adding spinach to my smoothies would be plenty of greens. While this is a fantastic way to get in some good greens, there are still better ways. Green powders are my new fav!
I personally have been using Tropeaka’s Alkaline Green Powder. But there are cheaper powders that are just as good. Find some links below to a few options on Amazon.
Green Powders – They offer you all the vitamins and minerals of a multi but with added nutrients such as probiotics, prebiotics, detoxification nutrients and disease-protective antioxidants.
4. Homemade Kombucha
If you have never had kombucha, it is this tangy fermented beverage that contains beneficial probiotics and acids. The nutrients it contains are wonderful at supporting the body in various ways.
To be clear- it isn’t some magic pill or silver bullet, but it may help the body function well by supporting:
- Liver detoxification
- Improved pancreas function
- Increased energy
- Better digestion
- Improved mood (helps with anxiety/depression)
- Reducing Candida (yeast)
- Helps nutrient assimilation
- May be beneficial for weight loss
Anyways, at the store, this stuff can cost up to $5 per bottle 👈👈👈
Umm…. no thank you! So I suggest making it yourself. I promise it is easier than you think. This is the recipe I use.
5. Essential Oils/Aromatherapy
The hubby got me an essential oil kit last year for Christmas. And if I am being completely honest, I was VERY excited about it but I did not think that I would use this product that often. Boy, was I wrong! I probably use this every other day.
Essential oils have been said to improve your health, increase your energy, and to help you sleep better. I personally use these oils while I sleep and during my home yoga sessions. I highly recommend.
This would be a great Christmas gift idea for your natural health loving family member or friend.
6. Fresh Herbs
I love to cook with fresh herbs, but buying them from a grocery store can be costly. I suggest growing them at your house. Most of my herbs start as those baby herb plants you buy at the store. The ones that are already potted. You know what I’m talking about.
The hubby and I now have rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, and parsley plants. We just planted marjoram and cilantro.
7. Vega One Protein Powder.
I already talked about this once this week, but guys I’m obsessed with this protein powder.
Why do I love it?
· No Artificial Sweeteners
· No Artificial Flavors
· No Artificial Colors
· Dairy & Soy Free
8. Target’s New Facelift
I don’t know if you have been in target lately or not, but the store has had a major facelift. If you wanted to spend your whole paycheck in there before, stay out of there now…… I went yesterday looking for school supplies for a little boy we are sponsoring for Christmas, and I got so overwhelmed, I completely forgot about my original goal. Yes, I am an awful person… or a very easily distracted individual.
But here is the thing, they do have a lot of new stuff that is so incredibly cute, especially their office/desk essentials. Like this mouse pad… I just had to have it.
This store is 100% marketed to young women. So, heads up the store is now more beautiful than ever and you will realize that you NEEEEED to redo your whole house/apartment….. but stay strong my friends… stay strong.
9. H&M – 15% Off Coupon
Before you attack and say that H&M is a fast fashion unsustainable clothing store, hear me out. Yes I agree and realize that fast fashion is destroying this planet…. I fully support going to your local thrift or second-hand shop to buy your clothes…
I also know a lot of you may not shop second hand. So instead of throwing away all of our old clothes that are not donatable, give them to H&M. Yes, To help reduce waste, H&M is encouraging you to bring in shopping bags of old clothes. In exchange, they will give you a coupon good for 15% off any one item in a future purchase. H&M stores accept any brand of clothing (it doesn’t have to be H&M) in any condition, even torn.
10. Yoga With Adeline
